The ADAPTIL Collar For Puppies and Small Dogs is the perfect way to keep your dog happy in any situation. The dog collar can be used to appease your dog in any stressful situation, such as during puppy socialisation, travelling ,crating, kenneling, loud noises or staying home alone.The ADAPTIL collar contains a special scent (that is odourless to people and other animals) that replicates the pheromone that your dog's mother would have naturally emitted just after birth, to comfort and create a bond. Even as adult dogs this same pheromone can still have a relaxing effect on your dog when they feel particularly agitated. The Adaptil collar sits close to your dog's skin allowing the dog's natural body temperature to encourage the pheromone to constantly diffuse to make sure your dog stays calm. Two sizes of adjustable collars are available: puppy/small dogs (fits neck up to 37.5cm) medium/large dogs (fits neck up to 62.5cm). Each collar lasts up to 4 weeks and can be replaced as required. The appeasing pheromone is released almost immediately. The Collar will not work when it is wet, but diffuses again as soon as it’s dry. If your dog wears another collar, it is important to ensure the Adaptil Collar stays in contact with the skin. Please note the Adaptil collar cannot be used to attach a leash. Do not use the collar on dogs with extensive skin lesions. Do not open the protective pouch until the product is ready for use.
