General information: Please seek your vet's advice before using this food or extending the feeding period. When feeding your cat with a veterinary diet you should consult your vet regularly for check-ups. If your cat's health deteriorates please seek veterinary advice immediately. Royal Canin Veterinary – Sensitivity Control Chicken in pouches is a balanced, complete wet food for cats with food allergies or intolerances. Chronic or acute diarrhoea and inflammation of the intestinal tract or stomach are the most frequent symptoms of nutritional intolerances. Skin inflammations, itching or fur problems are also an indication of allergic reactions. The ingredients list in Royal Canin Sensitivity Control has been reduced so as to minimise the risk of allergic reaction. It only contains chicken as a single source of animal protein. It also contains a patented complex (biotin, niacin, pantothenic acid, zinc and linoleic acid) to strengthen the skin barrier. Omega 3 fatty acids (EPA DHA) can help with skin and intestinal issues and the combination of carefully selected nutrients can also contribute to a balanced digestive system. Indications: Chronic and acute diarrhoea Food elimination diet Food allergies Nutritional intolerances Contraindications: None Key Benefits: Selected protein: Chicken and rice are both highly digestible and well accepted by cats with nutritional allergies. A limited number of protein sources helps reduce the risk of potential food allergies. Skin barrier: A patented complex (biotin, niacin, pantothenic acid, zinc, linoleic acid) to support the barrier effect on the skin. EPA / DHA: Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are omega-3long chain fatty acids. They can maintain healthy skin, while reducing existing inflammation. Digestive security: Contains carefully selected nutrients which support a balanced digestive system. Further information: Sensitivity Control is recommended for cats with dermatological issues caused by allergies, included military dermatitis. Length of treatment: Cats suffering from food allergies or intolerances need a special diet. It is advisable to keep your cat on this diet for the rest of its life. Sensitivity Control is suitable for long term use. Therapeutic veterinary diets are carefully formulated and recommended to be used in conjunction with veterinary advice and support. Royal Canin strongly recommend you seek advice from your Vet prior to and during feeding of any of these products to your pet.
